Family members say the clucky Troy star could hardly contain his excitement when he phoned to tell them that his sexy girlfriend, actress Angelina Jolie, would soon give birth to their first child. “He called to give the family the news. And after everything that’s gone on the last few months, we’re so happy,” gushes his brother Doug. “Brad and Angelina have come through a rough ride but one thing is indisputable – they are made for each other.” Doug confirmed the happy news after the New York Post’s Page Six column broke the story last week. “She’s just in her first trimester,” revealed an insider. “Obviously, they’re keeping everything very quiet.” The loved-up couple are currently living together in the Tomb Raider star’s huge 17th century farmhouse deep in the English countryside, where they are trying to keep a low profile and prepare for their baby’s birth. “He just wants to love and care for Angelina during the pregnancy, and they’ve decided they’re better off out of the way in England,” says Doug. Brad, 41, has already introduced Ange, 30, to his family and has even told his dad Bill that he will propose once things calm down a bit. However, sources close to the Oscar-winning actress confirm that the pair would like to keep the pregnancy under wraps for as long as they possibly can.
