US JET DIVERTED AFTER BOMB THREAT An internal American Airlines flight has been diverted because of a bomb threat. The jet took off from New York's LaGuardia Airport headed for Reagan National Airport near Washington. But Flight 4959 was ordered to change course and land at Dulles airport near Washington instead. It reportedly happened after a passenger passed a note to a flight attendant saying he or she had a bomb. The plane, with 19 passengers on board and five crew, landed safely. One person was taken into custody while 23 others were questioned by the FBI. The Transportation Security Administration was not immediately available to comment. US authorities reduced the security threat level on Friday but warned airlines were still at risk.
