מתוך אלאניס יוטופיה: Ben Lee is currently in Los Angeles working on his new album with producer John Alagia (Dave Matthews, John Mayer) and is having a hard time figuring out the best songs. "We are in the process of working through the top 25 of the 80 songs I've written, in order to choose the 18 that we will record," Lee wrote on his website in early March. "From there we will need to pick the 11 or 12 that will make the album. I've never had this big a pool of material to choose from." Lee also says that he is working at the same studio as some other big names. "The Smashing Pumpkins are downstairs, Alanis Morissette is down the hall and the Scorpions are next door!" Lee writes. "It's the first time I've recorded an album in a big classic studio like this.
