אזרחות לטבית

היי, אני מעוניינת לברר אם יש לי סיכוי להשיג אזרחות לטבית, ולשאול במה זה כרוך. נולדתי בארץ, אמא שלי נולדה בלטביה (וחוץ ממנה- מהצד של אמא שלי נולדו וחיה בלטביה כ-6 דורות מהמשפחה שלי) אחות למחצה של אמא שלי עדיין מתגוררת שם עם ילדיה, וסבא שלי נפטר שם לפני כמה שנים. האם יש לי סיכוי בכלל לקבל אזרחות שם? קראתי בכמה מקומות שאצטרך לוותר על האזרחות הישראלית, ובמקומות אחרים היה כתוב שזה לא בהכרח- ותלוי בנסיבות. אשמח אם מישהו יוכל לענות לי על השאלות

Dual citizenship is not recognised by the Republic of Latvia, with the exception of a transitional clause: Latvia allows dual citizenship for those and their descendants who were forced to leave Latvia during the Soviet or Nazi occupations and adopted another citizenship while away from Latvia. In order to be eligible for dual citizenship, they had to claim it by July 1, 1995. If such a claim is made after this date, they shall renounce the citizenship of another state.
