Within Temptation at Ahoy!
Hi guys, First sorry for english, I am using hotel computer and they don't have hebrew
so bare with me. Last night was one of the best nights in my life. Rotterdam, Ahoy and WITHIN TEMPTATION LIVE! I was glad to know I was not the only Israeli to be there The show was amazing, worth every second of my waiting Pyro techniques, live orchestra Keith was optning the concert with his band. I liked their music. They were on for about 30 minutes, maybe 40. And then of course the show we've been waiting for started. Guys were dressed in black tops and white pants, only Martijn was wearing black leather pants with bright top. I think it was white actually. Sharon was amazing, coming out dressed in one of the fantastic dresses, that later turned into a top with shirt skirt. These people know how to work! Sharon's voice, even though we were screaming like crazy "helping" her to sing, it was amazing as always. Guys played extraordinary. They did not stay still on the stage, they moved around, interracting with each other, coming close to the edge of the stage and making eye contact with the crowd. I don't think I will find enough words to explain how great they were. I was lucky enough to be in the third row from the stage in the arena, right in the middle! In between acts when Sharon was changing her dresses we we had a pleasure of enjoying what you can call and artistic acrobatic show, two and 3 people on dressed in black and white imitating angels were dancing on these "leg extensions"sorry can't remember the word right now. They have performed 21 songs! Of course Keith was singing What Have You Done Now together with Sharon and George Oosthoek was there for the Over The Hills And Anneke van Giersbergen was there too, though you know what, I complitely spaced out which was she was performing with Sharon. I will post the full play list later. After the concert some of the fans went to wait for the band by the band players entrance. Of course yours trully was there one of the first One of the things I like about Within Temptation is this band is enjoying to be with fans as much as fans are enjoying to be with them! They did not try to sneak out, and run away, even though I am sure they were super tired. Sharon came out while they were still busy to tell us that she will come out and "we will do this whole thing" She was saying it like it was us camping the exist waiting for us Then they started coming out one by one, first Martijn, then Ruud, then Jeroen, Robert, Sharon and Stephen. They all were ok with signing autographs, chatting with us fans. And now the main news guys. These was said by all the mebers of the band to me personally. I even asked Sharon about 5 times if I can post it. They have plans to come to Israel this summer. Sharon even told the the festival name, but gosh it was almost 3 AM and I my brain was partially frozen, so the only thing I remember is something about June or July and that it'sa festival.
