Wet Suits

Can anyone tell me if a 5mm 2 peice wetsuit(long john & jacket)is suitable for diving in Israel(Mainly Eilat and Sinai all year round) or is it too hot... can you get too hot and if it is what protection would you recomend

Why English?

5mm two piece is the maximum you need around here. You can use one piece if it´s too hot and in the summer in the Med you can dive without any.

Wet Suits

Although the outside temperature could reach 45 degrees in the summer the water temperature is usually between 20 to 24 degrees . So 5 mm 2 pieces wet suit is perfect, if you fill hot you can dive without the jacket,As I usually prefer.

Also

You need all the millimeters you can get for winter dives in the mediterenian. 5mm will do the job nicely. Personaly, I do all my red-sea dives with two pieces 5mm suit.

יש למישהו ניסיון עם חליפות 3 מ"מ באילת / סיני ? אני שוקל לקנות חליפה חדשה וחושב לנסות 3 מ"מ כיון שבד"כ חם לי עם שני חלקים של 5 מ"מ. דרך אגב: כמה משקל חוסך המעבר מ 5 ל 3? אלטו

חליפת 3 מ"מ

חליפת 3 מ"מ מתאימה בהחלט לצלילה באילת ובסיני בתקופת הקיץ. מאחר והרגישות לקור היא דבר אישי ממליץ לך פשוט לנסות. אני אישית צולל בקיץ עם חליפת 3 מ"מ ארוכה, מתאימה לי לרוב השנה גם באילת וגם בסיני. חלק מספקי הציוד אף יאפשרו לך לבחון את החליפה לפחות בצלילה אחת. וכמו שאמר לי היבואן (שלא אנקוב כמובן בשמו) כשקניתי ממנו לפני חודשיים את חליפת הסקובה פרו: "חליפה בודקים במים" ו ב ב ח י " נ

אני מסתפק בשורטי 3 מ"מ רוב השנה, בחורף (החל מ 23 מעלות ומטה) 5 מ"מ One piece לעומת זאת, רוב חברי עוטים על עצמם קצת יותר.

אני למשל צולל בחורף (18 מעלות) עם לונג-ג´ון 5 מ"מ וחולצת לייקרה - אבל זה בגלל החליפה המובנית שלי
