Ultra-lights vs. GA
I fly both - and I can tell you all that unless you do acro - flying ULM`s is a LOT more fun. True, I can take 3 passengers in the Cherokee that I occasionly fly, and some airports in Italy do not allow ULM`s to land, and fiddling with your VOR, , ADF and so on makes you feel like an airline captain, but to really feel you`re flying - you have to try an advanced ULM - you can fly at 200feet AGL and the lower you fly the more you enjoy the flight. you can land in very short strips, maybe in the Negev, and (trying to avoid risks - you can do some 360`s around some very narrowsites, something you don`t do with a GA aircraft.
