translator

hello everybody i started lately to read books in english to improve my vocabulary, and sometimes i found myself stuck with a word without knowing the meaning, since that i don't have a dictionary book everywhere i read (for example in the bus), i thought about buying an electronic dictionary i calrified a lil bit about it and i found those 2 solutions (Quicktinary and a e-translator) i ask people about the quicktionary who scan the word with a laser and translate, and many of them told me it's a crap because it doesn't scan well and it's not reconizing all the world and there are a lot of problem with this my question for u guys who might having the quicktinary, is this really good? or should i buy the e-translator? i added the link to those products p.s if i have some grammer mistakes can anyone tell me what they are? thank u very much

like I said on the other forum,

quicktionary tends to get annoying. It usually takes about 5 scans for it to get the word, or it doesn't get it at all. as for grammar mistakes: (and spelling mistakes - it's grammar, not grammer), there are a few. For example - you have a question for people who might "have" the dictionary, not "having". Also, a quicktionary is an object, so you can't say "quicktionary who scans", it should be "quicktionay which scans". (and of course it should be "scans" rather than "scan" because it's only one quicktionary. there are a few others. also, to clarify means "to make clear", so that's not the right word to use in that context.
