hay every one.... i got the name of the forum from my dear sister and right away i've listed myself. my beautiful brother has a toret sindrom and i want to know everything there is to know about it. i must say that i dont know much about it . he is having that for 17 years and i never made the effort to know more . maybe becuase i was afraid to get too involved. i was never close to him, and now something has change in me and i think im ready to "jump to the hot pen"... im now living in london and i havent sew my family for more then 9 months. maybe by using this forum i could get closer to them. to my dear sister "tabali", thank you for letting me get to know that forum. maybe now i could be a good sister to our brother like you are. love you both.

Welcome to the Forum! Your sister Tabali joined us only recently but I feel I know here already, I like her good spirit and her important advises. I am sure you are also a good sister, althought you probably have your own way to deal with the situation of having a brother with Tourette Syndrom. I know it's not easy and every individual has his own way... we have seen that here in many families. I have a 12 year's old son, who was diagnosed with TS more than a year ago. He has a brother who is older than him and a little sister , who was actually born into the situation of having a brother with TS. He has very few tics, and a mild OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), he is also very impulsive and gets mad very easily. He is also a very special child. His name is Eran and he is very active in the Youth Tourette's Comuna. If you want to know more about TS you can find a lot of information in The Torette's association site, which link is at the top of this page. You can also ask us and we will always be happy to reply.
