rebooting my computer

after i formatted my computer i haven´t been able to load windows95 eventhough i have the installation cd-rom. i can not command the computer to load the cd-rom

BIOS

you need to enter the BIOS, by pressing DEL while booting. In the BIOS there is a standard BIOS something meenu (i can´;t remember the name) you should enter thios menu and there is a field called boot order there, change it so CD-ROM would be first. Hazgul

Fisrt of all...

The win95 CD-ROM is NOT bootable ! You have two choices: 1)Try and locate the your CD drives Dos Driver that should have came with it when you bought your PC.An alternative is finding your drives model and maker=>going to there site=>Dowloading their Dos Driver=>Installing it=>trying to setup Win again. 2) Acquiring a win98 boot floppy=>starting your PC with it=>Choosing the "Boot with CD-ROM support" option=>copying the setup directory to your hard drive=>RESTARTING (!) your PC with a win95 boot floppy=>Setting up the OS directrly from the hard drive. Good luck either way
