Should I be happy? I can't help feeling sad. Sad that people exist in environments where they feel the only way to survive is to go as deep as they can into the closet, which means being the most homophobic man in town, just in case there's any room for doubt. Sad (and angry as hell!) that the police still practise entrapment for no reason on earth. Sad that this happens again and again and again, so often, that they may as well keep a template of the news item and just insert a different name each time to save time. So how much more anecdotal evidence do we need that those who are most passionately homophobic invariably turn out to be homosexual?... * * In case you were wondering, this theory has been scientifically tested - in an experiment - and found to be true; more extensive and rigorous research wouldn't hurt, though.
