Oh finally

I remember my first visit to the other forum, the one where Hebrew is allowed

. It was like 3 years ago or something like this, I asked for help with ideas for my English project (which I got a 100 for

), and I remember I always liked the idea of an English forum, only it was never realized. But now its too late

, I'm a soldier and I barely see my home, not to mention having time to visit this forum. Anyways I hope to visit this forum as much as I can....​

I was saying I liked Mivtza Safta and I was glad to see the reference. What do you want from me NOW? The second message was a joke, saying I don't care because it's Mivtza Safta. Stop taking everything so seriously, for crying out loud. And if we're in that subject - maybe the forum managers wouldn't have to reply like that, if someone actually followed the rules? So thank you, nubhev, for tainting one of the only threads that weren't actually against the rules. Thanks so much!

Your reply justifies exactly what I wrote Why do you explain yourself and justify your deeds? You could simply answer my questions or simply ignore and open a new message with some real content. Unless if what you realy want of this forum is to go on like this: what's this? don't know go there and next time read the rules.​

I think it was pretty natural of me to assume your question was sarcastic. Now assuming it wasn't (even though that still bugs me): The point of the forum is to create conversations in English. It's like the regular social forums, only the language isn't Hebrew. Now, what did you (and most people) assume? That this is a help forum. Well, technically - it is not. Forum #740 is for assisting people in all things English. That's why this forum isn't about questions and answers, but you can't ignore a person who comes in and asks in a legitimate way... Can you? So the few people who ask questions and do it according to the rules (questions in English with a request for an English response) - will get their answers as it is appropriate. But anyone who asks a question in Hebrew, or expects an answer in Hebrew - well, they DO have the other forum for that. Why use this one? To get a larger response? After all, the same people who answer here also answer there.

I did not assume that (that this is a help forum) and you can see that in the topics I suggested. Now, please consider my advice: 1. you cannot fight all the world, it will exhaust you. 2. there is another way to keep this forum's "essence" as you see it. It has happened to me that I posted messages uncorrectly (the wrong forum). The manager erased it and sent me a meesage through tapuz with an explanation. And the forum remained "clean".

But, if you remove all those messages, tell me, what remains here? And this is where you come in! I think quality is with you so why suppress it by attacking windmills? P.S. you don't even have to explain by "mesarim" why you removed the message, you can send them a pre-prepared message with the forum's rules' link + a simple information. Press less buttons, get less involved in nonsense ​

You were supposedly attacking and criticizing the moderators' decisions to erase posts that are not related to the forum's topic and/or are against the rules (a decision I agree with). You decided to reply to MY posts during said attack, but you paid no attention to the fact that I am not a moderator, and I do not have said powers. Even if I agree with them, you still need to speak to one of the moderators if you have an issue with their actions. Talking to me about it is pointless and to tell you the truth - it annoys me. I am an active member of this forum, and the redness of my username implies that I enjoy being in this forum and want to take part in its discussions, and also help people where needed. However, I can only help a person (in my opinion) who will abide by the rules of the forum. So please, pay great attention to what you write from now on, and don't just throw things into the air. You're not going to hit anything, and you're just offending another person. I know that sounds ironic coming from me, given the fact that people think I intend to offend the random writers in this forum - but I don't. I am just so tired of people coming with this righteous attitude, thinking that the moderators / regulars who get upset when the rules are broken are just meanspirited. They/we are not - but I guess this is way beyond what you can understand, so let's just leave it at that. And now, if you have an issue with one of the moderators - talk to them. Privately. This is not a discussion that should be done in the forum.
