How she can be so "reasonable" on the one side and at the same time be a groupie of the evil Margaret Thatcher is a bit hard to understand for those of us who lived through Thatcherism. The interviewer confronts her about some major ideological obstacles, and she wriggles out of it rather disappointingly. I mean, what does being gay in a 1970s Northern town have to do with the justification of Clause 28? I hate lazy reasoning/argumentation, but that's another point altogether...
