מילים קטנות על We Believe

From the fanclub: 03.28.2005 We have just shot a video for "The Chronicles Of Life And Death". It is our first time shooting a completely animated video. The artwork is based on Billy's drawing in the album cover of a little boy chained to a robot. Together they show us the trials and tribulations of life as we know it. Here is a sample from the video shoot of Joel singing to a blue screen. The computer graphics will be added in later. Also there are some completely rough sketches of the storyboard. Stay tuned to the website to get one of the first viewings of the finalized video. Paul The "Chronicles Of Life And Death" video will only be released overseas.

Benji's letter

As most of you know, y100 was taken off the air, the first station to ever play GC... On the site is a ''letters from your favorite bands'' section, here's Benji's: Letters from your favorite Bands: I will never forget the first time I heard our music being played on the radio. It was like a scene out of a movie. We heard that y100 was going to play " little things" in their nightly cage match because we had done a local show supporting a national act. We weren't yet signed and had been traveling up and down the east coast playing shows anywhere we could. we all gathered around the radio and waited for it to begin. That nite we were up against limp bizkit we knew we wouldn't win but just to hear our record on the radio, we were so excited. We listen and smiled and screamed and cheered. When it was over we couldn't believe it, we won the cage match and y100 would play our song again the next nite. We drove back to baltimore that nite in awe. It felt like we had made it. We went back to our day jobs in the morning with a new lust for success and drive to play rocknroll for a living. Everyday on my way home from my job bar backing at a local pub we would use his computer to check y100.com to see if our song was still winning the cage match. It won all the way till it was retired, in the meantime, getting us all kinds of attention from other major stations, record labels and bands, starting the buzz that eventually led to us signing a deal with epic records in 2000. Our recording career began and y100 didn't stop supporting us there. They've played every single we ever realeased. Its no secret that radio airplay wasn't always our strong point. Now that other stations have finally started to get what we do we know y100 is such a big part of that. They believed in good charlotte when we were just young, broke, noisy kids from maryland. You don't find faith too often in the radio business these days. What happened to the value of developing a talented artist? This industry, radio included has become so throw away. Chew it up spit it out, get what you can and leave. Career artists are few and far between, and guess what, people aren't less talented. It is just that people in this indusrty (like the people at y100&hfs) that believe in building things that last and Letting things grow organically, are being slowly exterminated. Whfs and now y100. What is happening to rock n roll? I know that good charlotte is not a genre changing band, we aren't prophetic in any way shape or form, but we do have a passion for music, for our fans and for the dream that so many kids still have. The one we've gambled everything on, the one that people like y100 and hfs helped us realize and could have helped so many other up and coming artists build in years to come. Such a sad state of affairs for rocknroll radio, history seems to repeat, and we can only hope and pray that something bigger and better is on the horizen for the people that gave us so much of what we have today. As much as we enjoy the frills and experiences we are having in the world of popular music, the one chord that rings loudest in our hearts and souls is the call of rock n roll. We have all heard it said, " rock n roll will never die" we believe it. For the true believers in this industry, like the people at y100 and the people at whfs, we know this is only a roadblock, one that will fall. The History that these people helped create, a history like ours and so many others bands out there is one that can't be erased. Thank you could never say it. We still consider ourselves a part of the institutions that they have built and hope to be a part of their future. --Benji Madden & good charlotte http://www.y100rocks.com/bandsupport.php

אז בעצם, מה שפול אמר זה שהקליפ Chronicles Of Life And Death
