:Here's the Scoop -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Yo... Monday night!!! Full MOON!!! HOWL at it. Hope you all are having a nice time right now. It's 10:52 and 10 seconds in LA just then... now it's 19 seconds... now... 28.... 33... 37 .... 45.... 48.... 53.... wooops jumped the gun... it was really only 52 seconds when i typed 53.. and now it's 10:53 and 27 seconds... 32... it's not stopping... this could go on all night... Just goes to show you how differently time moves depending on what you're doing. Sometimes you're not aware of it at all... sometimes the minutes can fly by... sometimes it seems to stand still. So interesting... cause the clock moves like a metronome... constant. What did you do today? Did you remember to Love yourself? Did you remember to Breathe? As long as you're here right now in front of the computer, we might as well just take one deep breath together. Feels good doesn't it? You can do that ANYTIME... isn't it silly that we forget how much better it feels to really pay any attention to our breath and to make the most of each one? Beautiful Sunshine here... Everything is going well in the studio. Big day today of getting excited about nearing the completion of the record... I can't wait for you all to hear it... soon... soon... soon. And then we'll be so ready to go on the road again... and all the shows from now on are going to be AT LEAST twice as good as anything you've ever seen from us... it's already begun... But honestly, the main reason I wanted to post tonight was to spread the word about a great ice cream place here in Los Angeles... do YOu live here? Are you going to visit soon? Do you want a delcious ice cream or sorbet? maybe even some VEGAN ice cream!!!! The place is called SCOOPS... It's run by one sweet old man named Mr. Kim, and he makes all the stuff himself. And the flavore are really interesting... You've got to go... !!! GO!!! GO NOW!!!!! Open noon-9 p.m., Monday-Saturday. Scoops, 712 N. Heliotrope Dr., Los Angeles, 323-906-2649. It's just North of Melrose on Heliotrope, which is just east of the 101 freeway (you can exit on Melrose) and just West of N. Vermont. You may be saying to yourself... "why is jesse basically doing a commercial for this ice cream place...?" And that's a good question... that's why i like you... you're a thinker... and there are two reasons... ONE... i think the vegan ice cream is delcious and somewhat healthy... and besides everyone deserves a delicious treat, and TWO I think this place needs the support... and it's just got a really cool vibe... you can sit on a couch and watch DVD's and Videos that he has a collection of... and it seems quiet and slow paced and simple and nice. If this whole band thing ever goes south... i'm gonna get a job there. So thanks for checking it out if you're in the mood... Sleep well tonight. Love, JESSE
