need your help

hello guys. I'll start with saying what a great forum your having here - i enjoy reading here just for the sake of improving my English. now that i got this thing of my chest, i have this one little (yeah right..) request. i wrote this letter to some of my friends - I'd really could use you help. I'd really appreciate it you taking the time reading this letter and fixing my mistakes - hopefully i didn't have as many mistakes as one would think. so, here we go..and again, thank you. ----- Hi guys, how's it going? What's new? You're probably asking yourself right now where in the name of god I disappeared?! You can calm down now; I wasn’t swollen by wiles nor lost in the universe. I'm still alive and kicking. Just 300$ and 2.5 hours away from you right now. "What in the name of god you're talking about?" Wait... You're jumping ahead of me. Give me a chance to explain I assure you, I won't miss a thing (but you...). Back to original reason I'm writing this to you. Some of you know, one of my dearest friends- a year ago went abroad studying architecture in Europe. Since I missed him, I paid him a visit (him and another 2 friends studying abroad for a while. One of them has finished his 2nd year and the other has just finished his 5th year). While visiting them in here, I got the "grand" tour – got to see where they live and the different faculties they're spending most of their time. It was quiet a shock to me, but I found out there are quiet a community in here. There is something like 300 israelies studying at this university. I even got the chance to meat up with some of them (the ones who didn’t come back to Israel for the semester break). Anyway, I got to realize this is… how would I put it... a great experience. Studying in a foreign country, away from home (sounds promising huh?) – But everything else in here is great – the atmosphere, the company, the social life – been told I must give it a try. And some of you know most critical decisions of my life... I made... spontaneously. You probably understand by the last line – I've decoded to stay and give it a try. During my last two weeks in here I applied for school and got admitted. Now I'm working on getting my student visa. And in October 1st I'll start officially a new part in my life. I'm going to spend here (hopefully) the next 6 years of my life and get back to Israel. Wait up, that's not all. As I said before... I didn’t vanish. I will get back to Israel every semester break (at January and July of each year). I know I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. And I miss you all. Some of you more than others. Hey... wait up; before you close this mail... you know I'm joking right. I miss you all equally. So... before I get too emotionally over here and regret of my decisions (no mam, no dad... I ain't fooling you... it's not a practical jock for April's fool day. This time, it's for real.). So… for all those I didn't say goodbye properly (you know who you are... honestly... it's all of you) – just so you know, I miss you. And I hope to see you when I get back to Israel for the summer. And I love you all. If you by any chance decide to pay me a visit… hosting you is my treat (I even learnt to cook... eatable foods or so they say), just get the ticket (it's a win-win situation now I'm abroad, you have a place and more importantly a reason to come by). My friends, Keep in touch. My cell phone is with me but I assume you don’t want to loose all you're salary on hearing me so... Soon I'll have a local cell phone and phone number you could call. I'll be more then happy to hear from you. I guess this is it... take care guys (and guls). And again... sorry I didn’t get a chance to do this right. Xoxo PS – sorry for the English but I haven’t adjusted my laptop yet.
