NEC Dive 2001
Hi there everyone, Well I am in the UK now and just came back from the Dive 2001 show at the NEC so as I said I am writting few lines about it. Well the show was not as big as I had expected, BASC, PADI and others were there as well as equipment manufacturers allowing tests ( they had a couple of big pools there). There were also lectures from variouse people about diving and equipment though I did not get to those. There were many shop stands selling anything you can think of from any maker at OK prices, I got a Scobapro Rek Tek Butterfly Stab Jacket there ( Similar to the Diuve Rite but more advanced ) for only 290 Pounds, about 1700 NIS so I was quite pleased with that, they hade 15L tanks for about 600 NIS which is good also. In general it was interesting and a good place to go shopping how ever I would not have flown all the way just for the show. I will post a couple of pictures if anyone is interested when I get back to Israel next week. Ayal
