Movies recommandation

I don't know about you guys but I really like french movies and foreign movies in general... I have to recommand to whoever didn't see these movies yet, the following list. 1) Amelie 2)8 women 3) (of course) todo sobre mi madre 4)y tu mama tambien I watched last night 8 women for the 3rd time and it is so much fun every single time.... me and my roomate were just singing the songs while dancing....so embaressing if someone were to come and see us.... we are both very str8 looking but have our gay tendencies when french movies and music come into the picture. We just opened 3 bottles of wine and had a great french night.... very recommanded!!!!

ohhh ohhh

Comme une image is WONDERFUL. I really adored it. And 5x2 was quite ok as well (the latest Francois Ozon), if you're Agnes Jaoui fans (as I am), you should also go and see "le role de sa vie", with Karin Viard (another great one) and another film, but a rather depressing one: Gegen die Wand. A German/Turkish film about Turkish immigrants in Germany and their problematic relationship with both Germany and Turkey. Got the golden whatever in Venice. Really good. And I am sorry... I think Amelie is an annoying piece of crap. Audrey Tautou was wonderful in Venus Beaute, but became abnoxious afterwards. And... well... 8 femmes was sweet, but after hearing "pile ou face" about everywhere for over a year, I think I've had it as well.

yes she is

wonderfull, she is conseederd here as the french woody allen... the gentile tells me that she made a film a few years back called in italian "il gusto degli altri" would be somthing like the taste of others... she was also the one that starred in the the film from about 10 years or so "On connaît la chanson" ok imdb it... its also by alain resins... other titels...belgian now C'est arrivé près de chez vous - belgian from 92 toto l'hero (the gentile liked at the time) ma vie en rose - cute and gay oriented Amelie was cute, i enjoyed seeing delicatessen 100 years ago at the old Limor cinema in israel, and when i saw in the cinmateque their le citte des enfant perdut i was amazed.... but i need to revise those films now i saw them years back.

Agnes Jaoui

Well, for on connait la chanson she also wrote the script together with jean pierre bacri (her husband... also playing in all of her films) Le gout des autres was lovely... even though I think that comme une image is even better. They both are extremely french, showing really how things work in France. I think she really is the best cinematic creator in France today and definitely one of the best ones in Europe. Jewish women aren't that bad sometimes :)

אוי, איך אני אוהבת שמות מעוברתים

של סרטים. הייתי מתה לפגוש את הוועדה שמחליטה על השמות האלו... מה הקשר, בירה נשר.

ma hamatzav

chatzav.... ok i am going home now, back to the heb fonts... i think its a international conspresy... in Italy its the same, there is some criminal minds that give names to films (though i have to admit some they leave as is).thats how "eternael sunshine of the spotless mind" became "if you leave me i will erase you" i just gave the names in hebrew cause it seemed to me not right to give it only in franch (that i myself dont speak...) so the films i talked about before the barberian invasion - sichot nefesh (i think) on connait une chanson - ha'chaim hem shir C'est arrivé près de chez vous - adam nasach kelev ma vie en rose - hachaim be'varod (they got it right!) toto l'hero.... oops i dont know...
