me need help.

i have to write a paper for school about the affects of world war 2 on american (or european) authors. could u help me find anything that has to do with this subject? i looked all over but i am not that good in web searches. thanx. kat

Heinrich Bell

Two author that I know are Heinrich Bell (maybe I spelt it wrong, he's German) and I think that Gunter Grass is a an author that was influenced by the war, but not sure. I read books by Bell, and what I can tell about him is that he was a German soldier in WWII and started writing and he's part of a "wave" of post-WWII German writers. He wan the Novell prise in the 80's and after you finish a book by him it makes all your feelings die... He wrote stories about the war itself and his best book (in my opinion) is HA'MUKIYON (The Clown in English???) and it's a great book, it has undercover layers about violence and Jews and this Nazi... I would tell you more about it but I read it something like 4 years ago!!! Hope it helped.​
