learning english by lyrics

Hi, I must practice and improving my english. Unfortunately, I don't like to read books or to watch movies. When i see a movie with a translation, i just read the subtitles because i can't manage to listen+recognize a word that i don't know+read the the translation. I think that the best solution for me is reading lyrics. I like music a lot, and I can find any lyrics i want in google. I'll be glad to hear about artist that i should learn their lyrics. For now, I started with Disney's songs, because they are full of basic words and simple slang. Any other suggestion of learning english vocabulary will be accepted happily. thank you

Try the oldies

Most songs from the 60's-70's were pretty simple, the Beatles for instance, especially in their earlier works (suggestion: don't try to learn "I Am The Walrus"). Also by listening to them you will be exposed to some really excellent music. But it really depends what kind of music you like listening to, and frankly you can learn the lyrics of any song at all, and if there's a word or two you don't catch, ask us. Also, start reading and watching movies. You don't know what you're missing. PS You didn't say what age you are, so I don't know, but your English is pretty good.​
