Last reports from London
That’s it, starting to pack, last shopping, getting ready to leave and head back home. This is my favourite one in London, the one I kept coming back to – Ping Pong – Little steamed parcels of deliciousness It is the hottest one here these days, a trendy Dim-Sum bar. Better than any Dim Sum I’ve ever had in taste, variety & quality (and had a few around the world). It is also the only place I know that serves Dim Sum after lunch time. Each portion has 3 little pieces and cost £2.80. Beautiful cocktails (my favourites – Vanilla Peach & Rum or Lychee martini, (but try as many as u can), the interior is impressive, the service is very efficient, the music is good – just perfect. They have the steamed Dim Sum we all know, but also have baked puffs, fried Dim Sum, stuffed sticky rice wrapped in Lotus leaves and many others. Been there 6 or 7 times already (twice in one day – lunch and dinner) and never got tired of it. Must get me one in Israel (any investors interested?) My must do list: Baked sweat pork puffs Fried Hoi Sin duck rolls Scallop & Shitake steamed dumplings Fried squid and lemon grass cake Jasmine flower tea (and don’t take your eyes off it once it is in front of you) Always having a feast and scared of the bill but – never paid more than £20 for 4 portions and a cocktail pp. You cannot be in London and not visit this one! Also went to a 2 Michelin stars restaurant last week, a little farewell treat to myself. Was a m a z i n g ! ! ! But I will write about it in my blog, in Hebrew and with photos when I get back (can’t be bothered with English no more).
