?Jumping spider - dangerous for dogs and cats

|הקוד|Hello, members of the forum,

I apologize for writing in English. Though I can speak Hebrew (fluently) and can also read in this language, writing in Hebrew is a problem.

I'd like to ask you about the little spider in the attached photo.

Yesterday I've had this little visitor in my home. It was moving very fast, making sudden jumps of about 10 cm high and I just managed to take this not so very good picture of it, before it disappeared under the armchair.

From what I could find on the Web, it looks like Plexippus paykulli, but I'm not 100% sure. Could you please tell me if this is what he is?

I am concerned about my two dogs and two cats, who are very curious and who hunt every insect that has the unfortunate idea to come into our house. I'd feel a lot more comfortable to know that this little spider is harmless to my critters - or if it isn't, what could I do in order to protect my dogs and cats. Thank you in advance for your replies

Thank you so much for your reply

|הקוד|It is such a relief, I was worried to leave them alone at home with a potential danger!

I only hope that my pets are not going to be harmful for this little spider - I really don't want them to hurt him! Anyone who feeds on mosquitoes is my friend
