i've seen enough

In 7 days, I was a witness to 2 fatalities in Eloy. One was experience skydiver (4000+) , the second was beginner (150). One was jumping small canopy (96) the other big canopy, one died landing between obstacles, making a last moment maneuver, the other didn’t handle a mal function (didn’t cut a way, reserve pilot chute entangled with the main risers and reserve didn’t come out), one was a friend, the other was a face I knew.. One was a dad for a 19 years old, the other left behind an 18 month old baby and a 8 month pregnant wife. They both set next to me on the plane before they die, they both didn’t know its coming.. Guys, PLEASE be careful out there. It can happened to ANYONE !! Do not think “that will never happened to me”, don’t underestimate peoples’ comments about your landings, flying skills, don’t think you know everything. The ground is hard even if you are a world champion. People in Italy used to tell me “I risk only my self” – well, if you die, no one cares right?? Don’t be selfish, because being an idiot under canopy or in free fall is being selfish. Jump safe and please do ot start any of those annoying discusion on Dropzone.com Ron
