The topic of the lecture will be: Behmoiras: A Jewish Family Name that Will Soon Disappear The lecturer is Dr. Rafael Ventura, a lecturer at Tel-Aviv University in the area of ancient Egyptian culture. The Behmoiras family can be traced back to the nine Rabbanim Kolelim at Edirne Turkey and the period of Sabbetai Sevi in Turkey, when they came from Hungary. A sample of the various spellings of the family name is Behmoiram, Behmuaras, Behmoaras, Behmoaram, Bemoras. It first appeared in the family tree eight generations ago and today the descendants are found in many countries around the world. The lecture will be in Hebrew. 20 shekel entrance fee for non-members.
