Angelina Jolie While Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's blockbuster movie, Mr. & Mrs. Smith, has caught fire in theaters and is already spawning talk of a sequel, the duo's off-screen love life is equally scorching. A source tells Star that even before the duo ink another movie deal, they may sign their names to a more intimate document — a marriage license, turning Mr. and Mrs. Smith into Mr. and Mrs. Pitt! Brad's been eager to commit to Angelina for some time, and the source says that Angelina has now given him the go ahead. "Angelina said she's ready to marry Brad," says the source close to the actress. "They want to make it official as soon as humanly possible. In every way — emotionally, sexually, spiritually — they feel like they were made for each other." Per California law, their wedding could take place as early as Sept. 24, exactly six months after Brad's first wife, Jennifer Aniston, filed for divorce. TOGETHER AT LAST Though the couple has yet to publicly confirm that they're even a couple, in recent weeks they've grown less concerned about being spotted together. On June 23, Brad, 41, and Angelina, 30, were photographed playing with Angelina's son Maddox, 3, near Angelina's Buckinghamshire, England, home. On July 5, they house hunted together in France's romantic Provence region. And two days later, Brad — who'd previously accompanied Angelina to Ethiopia to arrange for her new baby daughter's adoption returned to the east African country with Angelina to pick up the baby, 5-month-old Zahara Marley Jolie. Why the sudden openness? The source says Brad's intense pursuit of Angelina has paid off, and he's finally snared her heart. "Angelina's hardly the easiest woman to woo; she made Brad work for the privilege of being with her," the source says. Ever mindful of her children and given that this would be Angelina's third marriage and Brad's second, "it was essential that she make sure this wasn't just a fling for him." FULL STEAM AHEAD Though the two went separate ways post- Ethiopia (Angelina visited NYC; Brad made his way to Monterey, Calif., for a June 10 motocross race), Brad's family, in Springfield, Mo., recently met Angelina and gave their approval! "They love her energy and kindness," says a source close to the Pitts. "But the main thing they love is that Brad is so happy with her. Brad's mom told me she hasn't seen him so happy in years." Far happier, apparently, than in his last months with Aniston. "All of Brad's family loved Jennifer, but they knew Brad and Jen had been growing apart for a while." Now, says the source, "Brad's mom says it's like he's 10 years younger, laughing and goofing around. With all the stress of the last year, she's thrilled to see he's living his life fully again."
