אני מקדישה לזה שעה מזמני כדי לתרגם, בבקשה אל תכתבו כלום עד שאני לא אסיים. למי שראה את הקליפ, הקטע הבא לקוח מתוך האתר ABEAUTIFULLIE.ORG אני לא מצליחה להכנס אליו אבל היו אנשים נחמדים דיים שהעתיקו את זה לרישמי. תקראו. תשכילו. תשפיעו. The Arctic... Beautiful. Desolate. Fragile. There's something magical about even the name itself. I heard recently that often times the most difficult path is also the right one. Well, this project was definitely one of the most painstaking and difficult creative challenge we have ever undertaken as a band. It has also been one of the most inspiring - a rare opportunity to reach into our imagination and push the limits of what's possibile. It will always be an important part of our story and a defining element of our lives. אנטרטיקה... יפיפה, שומם, שברירי. יש מן קסם אפילו בשם עצמו. שמעתי לא מזמן שלעיתים קרובות שהדרך הכי קשה היא גם הדרך הנכונה. ובכן, הפרוייקט הזה היה אחד הפרוייקטים הכי קשים ומתאגרים מבחינה יצירתית שאיי פעם לקחנו על עצמנו כלהקה. זה גם אחד מהפרוייקטים מעוררי השראה- הזדמנות נדירה לדחוף את גבולות הדמיון שלנו. זה לעולם יהיה חלק חשוב בסיפורינו ואלמנט מהותי בחיינו. It's still hard to believe that we were actually there, two hundred miles north of the Arctic circle, carrying our guitars, drums, cameras and giddy selves across that endless and alien frozen tundra, watching as the ice cracked its thunderous warnings under our feet and shot what is our love letter to this magnificent and, sadly, soon to be lost treasure. עדיין קשה לעכל שבאמת היינו שם, 200 מיילים צפונית לעיגול האנטרקטי (פאק, איך לעזאזל כותבים את זה?), סוחבים את עצמינו, הגיטרות, התופים והמצלמות לאורך הטנדרה (טנדרה זה מן מדבריות שלג בקוטב..) הקרה וזרה. רואים כיצד הקרח נשבר לאלפי חתיכות אזהרה תחת רגלינו ומצלמים את מה שהא עכשיו מכתב האהבה שלנו למקום המדהים ולצערינו, הבקרוב מאוד אבוד הזה. It almost didn't happen. In fact, we were pretty much convinced it wouldn't happen. We even considered abandoning the idea after being told many times by very smart, educated, well-grounded and rational people that we were indeed out of our collective fucking minds for even thinking we could shoot a 'music video' in the Arctic circle. זה כמעט ולא קרה. למעשה, היינו מאוד משוכנעים שזה לא יקרה. שקלנו לנטוש את הרעיון אחרי שהרבה אנשים חכמים,משכילים וראציונליים אמרו לנו שיצאנו מדעתינו המזורגגת רק כשחשבנו על הרעיון של לצלם קליפ במעגל האנטרקטי.
