אם זה כ"כ חשוב אז:
Dan Gross suggested that Eminem's "Free Yayo" shirt worn at Sunday's Grammy Awards was a reference to cocaine, which is frowned upon by the law, and more importantly, by the People Paper. We were half right. While yayo is slang for cocaine, the shirt was actually a message of support for incarcerated rapper Tony Yayo (real name Jean Bernard), who is a member of 50 Cent's G-Unit crew, and signed to Eminem's Shady Records. Yayo was arrested New Year's Eve with 50 and G-Unit's Lloyd Banks on gun possession charges. Yayo remains in prison. Throughout the day yesterday we received many e-mails about this omission. The first batch kindly pointed out our error and also provided the missing information. As the day went on, however, several notes took on a harsh tone, some filled with insults and words we can't print in even this newspaper. We've heard yayo can result in fits of rage, so it made sense to us that our zooked-out readers let us have it. Tattle has no idea what Slim Shady's views are regarding the use of illegal drugs and no offense was intended to either fans of hip-hop or blow.
