The material is mostly classic PF songs, but this reflected and somewhat mellow atmosphere of these concerts put it in another light, which is quite touching. Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, 130 minutes. WILLIAMS, TONY/LIFETIME - TURN IT OVER 2nd album from 1970 by this pioneering Jazz-Rock outfit. With the young and brilliant Williams at the drum chair and Larry Young playing organ (both from the US) and John McLaughlin on guitar and Jack Bruce on bass & vocals (both from UK), they deliver some of the best Fusion imaginable. This album influenced scores of other musicians to develop this genre further. COREA, CHICK - THE LEPRECHAUN Brilliant album from 1975 by one of the leading jazz figures. Parallel to his work with the Fusion group Return To Forever at that time, Corea recorded this orchestral suite with a Big Band and string section, which was fresh and innovative. His quest to cover new musical ground is of course one of his greatest virtues. Superb performances by Steve Gadd on drums and Eddie Gomez an bass. RETURN TO FOREVER - HYMN OF THE SEVENTH GALAXY 2nd album from 1973 by this brilliant Jazz-Rock group lead by the keyboard wizard & magician - Chick Corea. Corea`s outstanding career in the experimental jazz genre took a sudden turn when he formed Return to Forever, which was a model for a whole generation of Fusion groups. The guitar on this album is played by Bill Connors, one of the unsung guitar heros, and the fantastic rhythm section consists of Stanley Clarke on bass and Lenny White on drums. A must! RETURN TO FOREVER - WHERE HAVE I KNOWN YOU BEFORE 3rd album from 1974 by this brilliant Jazz-Rock Fusion band lead by Chick Corea. The only line-up change is a new guitar player Al DiMeola, who of course was to become later one of the leading figures on the Fusion scene as well as one of the most revered guitar players. The material and the performances are superb all the way and this is a true classic album that only gets better with the time. ===================================================== Many items back in stock!
