4 items added today - a KC delight if you wish :) KING CRIMSON - THRAKATTAK This album captures a live performance by the double trio from 1995. The emphasis is more on improvised material rather then `songs`, and therefore this is less accessible then most KC material, but when listened to attentively, the wonders of those superb musicians are awestrucking. Not an `easy` listening experience, but richly rewarding for those who truly love KC. KING CRIMSON - ABSENT LOVERS Live double album from 1984, which marks the end of the 1981-1984 reincarnation (the fourth) of KC (Fripp, Belew, Levin & Bruford), recorded in Montreal. Next time anybody would hear from KC again would be almost exactly 10 years later. The material comes mostly from the 3 albums this lineup recorded - Discipline, Beat & Three of a Perfect Pair. Great historical document. KING CRIMSON - VROOOM VROOOM Two live concerts by the double trion from 1995 & 1996 and considered by KC fans as one their fines hours. The interplay and the collective and individual instrumetal improvisations are just breath-taking. This is just a long and wonderful trip into the KC world at its peak of their performing abilities. A true must for every KC fan. KING CRIMSON - LADIES OF THE ROAD A real special treat from KC! The first album in this set is a live performance from 1971-1972 by the original lineup, taken from the archives. The second album is a special compilation of guitar & sax solos played during the 1971-1973 tours, all taken from the song 21th Century Schizoid Man, which results in an over 50 minutes long version of the song. It`s a knockout! ------------------------------------------------------------ Many items back in stock! Have Fun! Adam Baruch Jazzis Web Shop https://www.jazzis.com/shop/

5 items added today: GILMOUR, DAVID - IN CONCERT (DVD) The Pink Floyd guitar man and leader caught live in 2002 performing two memorable concerts with many guests, including Richard Wright and Robert Wyatt. The material is mostly classic PF songs, but this reflected and somewhat mellow atmosphere of these concerts put it in another light, which is quite touching. Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround Sound, 130 minutes. WILLIAMS, TONY/LIFETIME - TURN IT OVER 2nd album from 1970 by this pioneering Jazz-Rock outfit. With the young and brilliant Williams at the drum chair and Larry Young playing organ (both from the US) and John McLaughlin on guitar and Jack Bruce on bass & vocals (both from UK), they deliver some of the best Fusion imaginable. This album influenced scores of other musicians to develop this genre further. COREA, CHICK - THE LEPRECHAUN Brilliant album from 1975 by one of the leading jazz figures. Parallel to his work with the Fusion group Return To Forever at that time, Corea recorded this orchestral suite with a Big Band and string section, which was fresh and innovative. His quest to cover new musical ground is of course one of his greatest virtues. Superb performances by Steve Gadd on drums and Eddie Gomez an bass. RETURN TO FOREVER - HYMN OF THE SEVENTH GALAXY 2nd album from 1973 by this brilliant Jazz-Rock group lead by the keyboard wizard & magician - Chick Corea. Corea`s outstanding career in the experimental jazz genre took a sudden turn when he formed Return to Forever, which was a model for a whole generation of Fusion groups. The guitar on this album is played by Bill Connors, one of the unsung guitar heros, and the fantastic rhythm section consists of Stanley Clarke on bass and Lenny White on drums. A must! RETURN TO FOREVER - WHERE HAVE I KNOWN YOU BEFORE 3rd album from 1974 by this brilliant Jazz-Rock Fusion band lead by Chick Corea. The only line-up change is a new guitar player Al DiMeola, who of course was to become later one of the leading figures on the Fusion scene as well as one of the most revered guitar players. The material and the performances are superb all the way and this is a true classic album that only gets better with the time. ===================================================== Many items back in stock! 4 Prog classic items added today: ANGLAGARD - HYBRIS 1st album from 1992 by this brilliant Swedish Prog act. Almost instantly after the release of this album the band acheived international fame and their debut release is considered as one of the finest Prog albums ever recorded. Unfortunately they managed to record only one more album before disbanding 2 years later. The band`s legendary status and the album`s fame are one of Prog`s greatest highlights. ANGLAGARD - EPILOG 2nd album from 1994 by this legendary Swedish Prog group. All the elements that made them such a great success with Prog lovers all around the world are present here, although this albums is slightly `darker` then the debut. Dellicate flute and mellotron instrumental passages are brilliant and the use of a string section adds depth and beauty. This is magnificent music! MARILLION - BRAVE 10th album from 1994 by the legendary UK Prog band, which is credited as the single-handed re-inventor of Prog since the early 1980s and therefore an inventor of neo-Prog. This album was recorded by the second reincarnation of the group with Steve Hogarth as lead vocalist and is considered as their best and most consistent release ever. As usual with Marillion, it is a concept album. MARILLION - AFRAID OF SUNLIGHT 11th album from 1995 by this legendary UK Prog group and as strong as the previous one. Again this is a concept album and the bands`s many fans consider it as a definitive highligh of their powers. Hogarth`s vocals are expressive and strong and the instrumental passages are performed with skill and imagination. A true neo-Prog classic! Have Fun!
