I bough a new VCR yesterday. After I hooked it in, I descovered that the digit keys on the remote are only there for beauty: when programming the VCR one chooses the hours by pressing the up and down buttons (not the digit buttons). i.e. if it is 4:00 and I want to set the VCR to record something at 23:30, I have to press the hours button down until it shows 23 and the minuted button down until it shows 30, instead of just punching 2330. The VCR is made by Toshiba and the question is do I return it to the store? And will they take it back? And do any of you have such a silly VCR?
