Hilary Duff's music video, Wake Up, retired on MTV's TRL (Total Request Live) today. She was on the countdown for a total of 50 days, the maximum amount, and peaked at number one. She retired at an awesome number three! Congrats Hilary. Last year, Duff played just two sold-out arena shows in Sydney and in Melbourne with crowds just smitten with the blonde starlet. She first made a name for herself in the Disney hit TV series Lizzie McGuire as both an actress and a singer. Her star has continued to rise with The Lizzie McGuire Movie, A Cinderella Story and her most recent film, The Perfect Man. Her recent album, Most Wanted debuted at number three on the ARIA chart. Not bad for someone who turned 18 last week. Speaking of which, she threw a bit of a star-studded birthday soiree at a club in Hollywood. The guest list included Duff's beau Joel Madden of the band Good Charlotte and Batman 's Michael Keaton. On an overseas jaunt, drummer for Adelaide band Shotpointblank Luke Weber managed to score himself an invite - as well as one of the $300 gift bags for guests. Nice one.
