זה משוה שעכשיו דיי מדובר בפורום וזה אירוע דיי גדול. מכיוון שהעידכונים הם דיי ארוכים אני אכתוב על הכל בכמה הודעות.. ואני אתרגם כל אחת ואחת מהן.. אני מבקשת מכן רק להתעזר בסבלנות, אני חושבת שתוך פחות מחצי שעה אני אסיים לתרגם את הכל. אני מקווה שלפחות חלקכם יודעים על מה אני מדברת. ואם לא אז שלפחות חלקכם חושבים שאתם יכולים לבוא לזה,שזה מעניין חלק מכם. אז הנה זה בא. I've been working on this idea for nearly two and a half years. I'm several steps closer to making it happen and now it's time to open it up to the rest of the Echelon and get a feel for how interested everyone is to make this event happen. Here are the basics.... I live in Nashville and work for Coca-Cola - we have an exclusive beverage agreement with the Bonnaroo festival in Manchester, TN. (www.bonnaroo.com) I'm in constant touch with the organizers of the event and have been talking to them for quite some time. They are willing to lease out the land for the festival to me for a weekend in late September/early October for a three day Echelon event. I need to get a ball park figure of how many members would attend this event so I can give them a figure to work with regarding costs for the grounds, port-a-potties, food, liability insurance, etc. It would be a campsite/tent type lodging environment - we'd have a large picnic, local bands, etc. 30STM would be doing an exclusive set for JUST US! Preliminary estimates would put the 3 day admission at $50 to $60 bucks - however that could go down if we get a ton of interest. Please respond to the poll or this comment so I can start getting some numbers down on paper and move forward with this if there is enough interest. Edit: MASSIVE UPDATE ALERT!! OK some time has passed so I've decided to put most of the updated information here... This event is open only to MARSArmy/Echelon members. No general public tickets will be sold. Each member will get a special code to purchase their tickets to the event - this code will allow you to purchase two tickets only. You will be required to sign up at the event website to receive your code, your IP address and name will be logged - if it is discovered that you've purchased more than two tickets under different names - your tickets will be voided and you will not be granted admission. Ticket prices for the event have not been determined. They are likely to be in the ballpark of $60 to $70 for the entire weekend. There will be picnic food provided on Saturday afternoon by a Nashville catering company. The rest of the meals will be sold by vendors onsite. There will be a limited number of grills available for those who wish to BBQ for the other mealtimes. This event is slated for late September/early October 2008. The band is aware that planning for this event is taking place - I last spoke to Jared about it back in April and the only thing the band needs to do is set their date. This will be a Friday, Saturday, Sunday event. Gates will open Thursday at Noon for early arrivals and will not close until Monday at 1pm - for cleanup volunteers. (Hint, Hint, Hint) The event will be taking place in Manchester, TN on the grounds of the Bonnaroo festival. It will be an outdoor music festival with bands performing just for us. There is a ton of open space for camping. For those without tents, we'll have some provided especially for the international visitors and those arriving by air. There will be access to water and outdoor showers available. Charging stations for cell phones and cameras will be placed all around the tent areas. There will be limited power available for electronic usage. עדכונים עדכונים האירוע פתוח אך ורק (!!!) לחברי מארסארמי/אשלון. שום כרטיסים לקהל הרחב לא ימכרו (מה שאומר שזה ארוע סגור ומסוגר) כל חבר רשום יקבל קוד מיוחד כדי לקנות את הכרטיס לאירוע - הקוד הזה יאפשר לקננות 2 כרטיסים בלבד. אתם תתבקשו להרשם באתר האירוע כדי לקבל את הקוד לקניית הכרטיס, עליך לרשום גם את כתובת הIP שלך ואת שמך. אם יתגלה שקנית יותר מ2 כרטיסים תחת 2 שמות שונים- הכררטיסים יוחרמו ולא תינתן לך רשות לבוא לאירוע/ לקנות אותם שוב. מחיר הכרטיסים טרם נקבע, כפי שנראה כעת מחירם יהיה 70$ לכל סוף השבוע (כלומר, 3 ימים) לא הבנתי את הקטע של הפיקניק שיהיה ביום שבת.. צריך לשלם עליו עוד 60$ (?) לא הבנתי, נראה לי שכן, בכל מקרה, שאר האוכל ימכר בתוך האתר ע"י חברות מבחוץ ולכן המחירים לא תלויים בהם. יהיה מספר מוגבל של מנגלים שאותם ניתן להדליק למי שרוצה לעשות ברביקיו בשעות הארוחות האירוע מתוכנן לסוף ספטמבר/תחילת אוקטובר 2008. הלהקה מודעת שישנם תיכנונים לאירוע הזה-דיברתי על האירוע עם ג'ארד באפריל האחרון, כל מה שהם צריכים לעשות הוא לקבוע תאריך מדוייק. זהו אירוע שיערך בימים שישי-שבת-ראשון. אבל השערים יפתחו החל מיום חמישי בערב לאלה המגיעים מוקדם ומרחוק ויסגר ביום שני בשביל המנקים- בהתנדבות (אהמ אהמ) האירוע התקיים במנצ'סטר טנסי, במקום שבו נערך פסטיבל בונרו. זה יהיה אירוע בחוץ (תחשבו כפר המוזיקה רק יותר מגניב) עם להקות שמופיעות אך ורק לנו, יש מקום גדול לאוהלים, לאלה שאין להם אוהלים ואלו שמגיעים מרחוק - יהיו אוהלים שיביאו לכם, תהיה גישה למקלחות ומים יהיו מקום מיוחד לטעינת פלאפונים/מצלמות בכל אזורי האוהלים אבל יהיה כמות מוגבלת של שימוש בחשמל

This will be a "GREEN" event. Recycling booths will be laid out around the area for glass, plastic and paper goods. We will be using biodiesel fueled generators for power and such. Several groups are going to be invited to set up booths for promotions - Truth in Advertsing, PETA, ASPCA and American Red Cross will most likely be in attendance. זה הולך להיות אירוע "ירוק" - כלומר, למען איכות הסביבה. פחי מחזור ימוקמו בכל רחבי האזור.. בלה בלה בלה בלה There will be NO less than SIX bands performing. As soon as 30STM gives me a date, I'll start pounding the pavement hard to get the other bands signed on. Badges for those under 21 will be on a different color lanyard. Lanyards are being purchased to commemorate this event. They will be white for 21 & Over - with red and black 30STM logos/glyphs and MARS FAMILY REUNION imprinted on the lanyard. The under 21 lanyards will be red with white/black printing. The lanyards will be available for purchase at the exit gates on the last day of the event in case you want the color you didn't receive. There will a TON of fun events taking place over the three day event. Here are just a few: יהיו הרבה פעילויות מהנות בזמן האירוע, הנה חלק מהן: 1 - "THIS IS WHO I REALLY AM" Talent Show - judged by the guys and members of guest bands. Show off who you really think you are. Limited to the first 100 entrants. תחרות כשרונות, השופטים- חברי הלהקה או הלהקות שיופיעו באותו היום , יהיו עד 100 משתתפים 2 - "PHASE 1 - FORTIFICATION and BATTLE" - Water jet, water balloon, water cannon fight. Build your team's FORT and then Battle the other teams for victory. If your fort is still standing by the end of 15 minutes you win. We'll start with 20 teams of ten on the first day of festivities and whittle it down to the final two that will battle for victory on the last day of the Camp-Out. בקיצור, מלחמת מים אסטרטגית מאוד. 3 - "WELCOME TO THE UNIVERSE" - Campfire chat evening 1 - our stories of how we entered the MARS Universe and what our LIVES ON MARS mean to us and those around us. שיחות מסביב למדורה, לספר איך בדיוק הכרנו את 30 ומה אנחנו חושבים עליהם בלהלבלה 4 - "THE MISSION - SCAVENGER HUNT" - This will kick off about a month before the Camp-out. It will include MARS music and MARS inspired music (either inspired by MARS or something that inspired the boyz of MARS) לזהות את המוזיקה או משהו כזה.. 7 - "FROM YESTERDAY - THE QUIZ" - Full competition for the ultimate Echelon. Obscure facts and little known nuggets of the MARS Universe. Winner gets a private dinner with the band (plus one guest). חידונים, המנצח יקבל ארוחה פרטית עם הלקה+ אורח 8 - Saturday night Sing-Along - Acoustic campfire singing with the guys. Bring your marshmallows. Sunday Morning Worship - Well, we are a cult afterall. We will pay homage to our leader and sing hymns of praise. "How Beautiful Shan Art", "Old Rugged Glyph", "Amazing Tim", "Tomo Loves Me", perhaps a rousing round of "Ye Messengers of MARS" and maybe if time permits we'll all do a chorus of "Repent!, Tis The Voice of Jared". 10 - "93 MILLION MILES - Obstacle Course" - it's not quite THAT long but you get the idea. You will run from one end of the course to the finish while getting through 5 obstacles while avoiding being clobbered with wet sponges from the "Bombers" that will be hovering at points along the course. Get hit, you go down. Last one standing gets some cool MARS gear. זהו דיי אין לי כוח לתרגם את כל המשחקים. עוד חצי שעה אני אסיים לתרגם את כל ההודעה.. וכן, יש לי בערך עוד 3 הודעות לכתוב >< דאמיט

That's just a partial list - there will be more added. The band members of all groups will be invited to participate in any event with us - who wouldn't want to throw wet sponges at Shannon & Tomo? Special time will be set aside for one on one and group photos with each band. This is going to be a fun getaway for the bands as well as us, so they will be kicking back and relaxing all weekend. These yearbooks, once printed, will be signed by 30STM and will only be available to those who attended - your unique registration code will allow you to purchase two copies. The yearbook will have a section in the front, just like a real yearbook with each attendee's picture, name (or board name), etc. We'll record each member's unique number (issued with their entrance to the event) with each pic - one pic with the dry erase board with their number on it - the next pic with the band. The shots that are taken with individual members will be spread out all over the back section of the book. Posters of the pic will be available for purchase with the yearbook as well. I may have found a major sponsor to help me with the funding of this event. I cannot use their name as yet; once a contract has been signed I will inform everyone of their support. Their support will come in the form of matching some of my funds for the event which will effectively give me an additional $750,000. Once this sponsor is in place, I will begin working with large groups around the globe to organize travel plans for multiple members. The US will have an east coast and a west coast leader. Canada will have their own as well. Hawaii you guys are an entity of your own. Get the idea? So, at the end of the festival on Monday night - those wishing to further the Echelon fun, will board a really nice chartered bus and head down to DisneyWorld for a visit. The bus trip from Nashville to Orlando will be covered, you will have to pay your way into DisneyWorld and the hotel while there. We'll be in Orlando for three days and two nights. I will let everyone know the hotel name to book our room block as soon as I get proposals back from the hotels I am looking at - two of them are on Disney property. Basically I want you guys to have a fun time without having to empty your piggy banks and rape your trust funds. I have cashed in a TON of Coca-Cola stock that was purchased for me when I was little in order to finance this event. It's as much a gift to myself as it is a gift for the band and the entire Echelon family.
