Thank you... thank you... thank you. what a glorious day. how are you? Stuffed? satisfied? sultry? spicy? sweet? sour? sanguine? spiritual? secretive? sceptical? scandalous? sarcastic? sad? sallow? scurrilous? strong? smarmy? somnolent? selfish? spasmodic? sardonic? stressed? stinky? synchronized? Szechwan? that's pronounced Sesh-wan... and it refers to a province of South China... est. population: 103,200,000. But it also refers to the name of an unreleased, unrecorded, and unwritten Kara's Flowers album from back in the days when we just came up with album names before we even had any songs. Sadly, the true genius of Szechwan Children has yet to be realized. Nor, for that matter, has the true genius of Throbido's Knife. But let me be the first to open up the discussion for our next album title by suggesting those two gems. What do you think it should be called...? And I am fully prepared for the flood of suggestions in the vein of "Songs about Sara"... "Songs about Amy"... "Songs about Steve"... they will be duly noted... if we end up using your suggestion you get a free copy of the LP. Today has been Thanksgiving... So while thinking of the infinite number of things that i'm thankful for, I spent a good deal of time thinking about all of you boys and girls who like our band, as well as all you girls and boys who don't like our band... but who read our message board anyway... I'm grateful to you all... everyone in the band truly is... and I have such sweet news about our new music... I'm so excited for you to hear these songs... Music has never felt better to me than it has in the last few months of writing... and I thank the spirit world for letting it flow into me and into every last one of us all. I hope that you are feeling appreciated and loved and adored and worshiped and respected and admired and supported and beautiful and perfect and inspired and curious and open-minded and compassionate and safe and patient and thankful and thanked.
