Hi, new here.What is the goal here?

Hi, I'm new here. I came here in order to improve my English and to bring it to a high level. My English, as it's now, is good, even good+, but I would like to surpass it. Anyway, I am wandering whether I've come to the right place, because I havn't really caught the idea. Furthermore, I don't know the rules here, etc' .. So, I would you to tell me what either the aim of this forum and whether this is the place where a man can improve his English. Thank you very much ! And I will be pleasured, if you correct my mistakes.
