Hi Guys..

I need to take some steam out.. I dont know if you rememeber - I have Anod level 3 - after laparoscopy. I found out I had it after trying to concieve for 2 years and no success. I was suppose to start IVF this month and I just found out that my insurance wont cover it (I live in USA because it is unesseccery to jump to IVF - I need to do IUI first. And then ofcourse if i do that I wont be cover for IVF anyway becuase i used my benefits alredy. I am sooooooooo upset - I alredy took the lupron for awhole month. I feel so helpless with the health system here.. Sorry guys..just had to talk to someone who will understand me. )

מבינה אותך אך העדיפות עם אנדו' היא לעבור ל-ivf ולדלג על שלב ה-iui הסיכוי להרות באמצעות הזרעה הוא נמוך יותר אם בכלל ומכאן נובעת העדיפות. עשית צילום רחם לבדוק מה מצב החצוצרות? מוזר שאת כותבת שזה לא נחוץ עם אנדו' לקפוץ ל-ivf, הרי בארה"ב של אמריקה שם יודעים על המחלה הרבה יותר טוב מפה, שם חוקרים אותה ומנסים לפענח אותה - נכתב מפורשות בכל פרסום שלהם שחולות אנדו' חייבות להזדרז עם השגת הריון בשל הנטיה להחמרת המחלה עם הזמן ועל אחת כמה וכמה באמצעות ההורמונים לגרימת סטימולציה, אז איך דוקא שם לא מאשרים לך להגיע ישירות ל - ivf? נשמע לי תמוה.אין עוד דרך לתקוף את ההחלטה? אולי דרך רופא אחר שיתן חוו"ד וימליץ "לקפוץ שלב"?? אגב, איך השפעת הדנאזול על האנדו', איך את מרגישה?? מבינה את התסכול שלך.

Doctors & Insurance.

The recommandation my doctor gave after the laparoscopy was to jump to IVF. - where my chances to get pregnant are much higher -20% compared to 35%. Its the insurance company that refuses to accept that. The Health system is America is fucked up. You never know what you are covered for and the insurance company always have the right to decline. and thats exactly what the did. We spoke to 4 people from the insurance company and each one of them gave a different benefit list. And i am not talking about a small company - its a big company in America. It is so frustrating. As for your questions. My tubes are fine..I had "idabkuiot in my ovaries and 4cm cist which all have been clean (i hope)" in the sergury I am gonna be 31 soon and I have no option to come to Israel to do this..We still nagotiating with the insurance company - and maybe my doctor can appeal.. Danazol was good..its stopped my period - I took it for 2 months - I didnt have any side effects with it which was good - but i didnt take it for long..now i am on lupron- a shot that imitate mentapose- to prepare for IVF. - which was scheduled to the start of next month. כל כך מתסכל מה שאת כותבת, קצת מרגיש כמו "חלם" ועוד דווקא בארה"ב שבה אמורים להכיר את המחלה יותר טוב מכולם...פשוט מתסכל. כמו שדניאל כתבה, אולי שווה לנסות להגיע לרופא שהמלצתו תהיה מקובלת על חב' הביטוח. מאחלת לך המון הצלחה ושההריון יגיע כמה שיותר מהר

נורא מרגיזה הבירוקרטיה הזו. הרעיון היחידי שעולה לי הוא ללכת לאיזה שהוא רופא מומחה בתחום שמקובל על חברת הביטוח לחוות דעת נוספת שתחזק את מה שאמר הרופא הקודם כדי שיכתוב חד-משמעית ששלב ההזרעות הוא מיותר עבורך ושצריך רק IVF. בהצלחה !
