it's a movie by Michael Moore..

it's a documentary movie, which in this movie, he shows how America is a brute machine who makes people consume guns for their own protection (because the american media makes them believe they have to buy guns to be protected) and he shows canada on the movie as a peacefull place, where everyone never lock their doors and they live in harmony or something like that... so, what I'm really asking is, Is Canda really that a good place to live?

Oh, yes, I've seen it!

I watched it in drama class, didn't recognize the name. They really exaggerated...I mean, people lock their doors! Yes, Canada is really awesome, very multicultural, people are really nice, especially where I live in. One criticism of the movie that I have is that they didn't mention the 1989 École Polytechnique massacre, which was a mass murder towards female engineers. Some guy got a gun and killed them, saying that thet are feminists, that they destroy the world etc. That was in Montreal, Quebec, Canada, and lead to much stricter rules of gun control in Canada. (I just realized that it might have been mentioned in the movie and I forgot, but anyways, people should know about this).
