Help With Biting Please

My son (7 mos) with 2 teeth has days when he is either biting me or crying when i bring him close to my breast because he´s ready to get barked at and pulled away (for biting me). Help! I have had to reasort to pumping milk and giving creative solids for 12 hours when he won´t nurse unless he´s asleep - at which point he forgets to bite or whatever. I´m assuming that his teeth are bothering him - more coming in - and those are the days when this happens, but it´s really a problem. Any suggestions????

Try one of the teething gels

before a feed. If his teeth are really bothering him, that might help. When he bites, tell him no in a stern voice, and stop the feed. He will learn not to do it. PUmping and feeding him in a cup is also possible for the difficult feeds. Once the teeth come out, it should be easier. You should try to get in touch with your local La Lech League and meet with other mothers in the same situation.​
