Help! What does he say?

Hey guys, I have a problem writing a subtitle to a movie... I cannot understand what the guys says. I only know that at the beginning of the sentence he says:"A War Veteran..." What does he say after this? I am adding the audio file to the message so you will be able to listen to the sentence. Thanks alot guys!! Shai
