Update from Aliza! 1 yacht, 2 weeks, 3 generations, 4 Crew…. Well we are in Hawaii and Aliza is safely tied up to the dock at Radio Bay in Hilo on the big island of Hawaii. We have finished the first leg (About 2700 miles) on Sunday the 15th around 11AM when we entered the Hilo harbor. It took us 2 weeks and 17hours to complete this leg which we started on Saturday December 1st 2002, at 18:30 in Ventura California. The trip was very nice, no special events and the only thing missing was the Pacific High and its trade winds. We could have used some more wind (not on the nose) at any given time (Isn´t that the truth for all sailors?). Weather was nice and our crew was great. On board we had Moshe, Efraim & Nogga Schwartz, and for additional crew members. Steve, Haim, Zach, and Tabitha. Steve and Haim are retired professionals with good sailing experience. Zach and Tabitha are a younger couple who took a sabbatical from their technical career as web designers. More updates and pictures will be coming later as I get some time to organize the material. We plan to be in Hawaii until the end of January and then continue to Australia. אפרים, אנחנו מחכים בקוצר רוח לעדכונים נוספים
