Hi there, I try to follow up in the HG forum when I have a chence as we are busy around here or simply the internet is out. I must admit with all this flying I do I still miss the true flying as a HGr on my Pamir! the incence days out of the Tavor ot Zhichron - it is unique way to be in the air! although I have fliped the record at this end, I still have a good few months left head of me before the end of my contract, I believe in what we do and that way I was some of the very few who sticked around. as well belive that the worst is yet to came as this country as is about to go through ilactions in the first time! so anyhow, I am heading back - to Israel.. and I am going to give it a try as a pilot, and I know it is not going to be easy, even after the massy and the extrim chellenges of Central Africa. enjoy the pictures - if I manged to get them through.. c u guys in a few months. safe flying Nati

unfortuntly there is a lot of eccident around here due to pilot error, the wather here is the worst on earth! and some of the Mnts are reaching 16700feet.

Hi

for now I fly a Caravan, it is a grate aircraft for the bush although the Twin Otter does a batter job I would say. forget about what a runway could look like! here at this end we land on all sort of weard serfices. some of them are up slop - dirt airstrip with a dog lag in the middle, 1 way in 1 way out (not stright or lever or both) some are roads - as narrow as 6 mitter wide and diches both side, trees at the wing tips, and couple of racked aircarft that did not make it on landing - just to remaind you what could happen if you scrue it up.. it was a huge stargle in the begining! (even after crop dusting at night at low level..) as you may know for sometime I was the only 1 here as everybudy left - and it did not make things any easier...! now I learnd to anjoy it. I learnd to cope with the colture, the conflict, the complex tasks as a single crew in bad weather, you get home and no water and you are daiying for a shower afetr a long insane/swety day.. long hrs, 6 days a week. you cant get out and walk around, and more then that..! it does not bug me anymore, others got sick and tired and left. I believe this place may giving me some gray hair.. but beleive it a unique exprince and at the same time having an oppertuinity to halp other. just today I drop nearly a ton of vaccicantions in a ramote place where there is ubslutly no eccess by road. when I get to ISR we could fly together, I may as well will be looking for a hang glider to get back in to the sport. have a nice weekend and full of thrmals. sorry 4 poor spelling - I cant halp it.

כנגד כל הסיכויים ובגדול. התרשמתי מהטיול שהוא עשה בעולם ומהעובדה שהוא שורד בהצלחה באחד המקומות הקשים והמסוכנים בעולם . אני רק רוצה להזהיר נתי, כאחד שטס עם לא מעט מהסטיקרים הטובים של חה"א ומתוך הכרות עם הסטטיסטיקה הפחות סימפטית...- גם הטובים ביותר נופלים לעיתים ולפי התמונות והסיפורים שלך זה נשמע לי שאתה מסתכן הרבה הרבה יותר מדי. אני לא יודע כמה אתה מתוגמל ודי ברור לי למה רב הטייסים לא שורדים שם - אני מקווה מאד שתפרוש בזמן כדי שנוכל להראות לך שבגלישה אווירית יש לך עוד הרבה ללמד.

I am doing my best to stay out of truble..(and not that I could always control it - it is the place..) all I have left is 4 months and I hope to make it through, it is importent that I finsh what I began with - trust me, money is not that grate and that not way I am here, but I hope EL AL, Israir or Arkia may give me a bit of credit for the exprience, so I could get my foot in the door, but still I know it is going to be tough. HGing is the best way to be in the air! and beleive it is also to do with the people in this sopert which I find as well very intersting and grate to hang around with. if there is something I am missing is xc with my hang glider and then get together with you guys for Humus and talk about the flight.. paraps a deep in the sea after. no budy is invincible.. take care. see u soon Nati
