hello to all, with sigal saying that she didnt know about the trouble with mikes leg, i went back to my scrapbooks and books, . so here goes, mike and the people he worked with were in geneve switzland, to talk about concerts for mike , in that country. thy were staying at the hotel de la paix. ...i am now reading from tout magazine no.1. by press edition sarl. 78 champs elysees. paris. . printed sept 1975. when asked what happend mike said he felt much to warm in his hotel room, so went to the balcony to get some air, then did not remember anything else, until he awoke in hospital. he had broken his left leg. it was not a easy break to mend, , but thy were able to save his leg. however acording to all the news paper and t.v reports at the time it never really healed and often gave him a lot of pain. . if he had lived he would have had to have more work done on his leg.. he stayed in hospital about 6 weeks, and even did a radio broadcast from his hotel bedroom, with jean-loup la font, , . we all listend to it at work, as the radio was on throughout the shop.. we were all wondering what had really happend to that lovely young man who used to come into the shop.... love to all from england. annie.xx f
