hello and a very happy new year to you all. when talking over our time working in paris, with my friends thy reminded me of when mikes record nous irons a sligo came out, on 20, 12 ,71, the photo on the front was of mike in a hippy winter coat cuddling a dog, i took one look at it and said, i want a coat like that. i think you would call the fabric sheepskin.. his coat is light brown with patterns in the fabric.. on our next day of we set off on a shopping trip, to find me a coat. we all lived in diffrent parts of paris, i at the time lived in montmartre, on rue saint vincint. near place du tertre. i loved it there, and it was cheap. so we would all meet up under the tour eiffel. i got my coat on the champs - elysee, mine is light brown with a hood, and patterns on as near to mikes coat as i could get. i loved that coat and still have it today. then we would call in at the fan club offices in those days it was at 67, rue de provnce. run by bernard blanger. to see if their were any new photos of mike available. thy were free in those day s. their would be a list of mikes concerts, and we could book tickets there. you could get news of what mike was doing, and if he was coming in to the office. i am talking of 1970 to 1972. you could learn so much about what was happening in mikes life from there. i should tell you if you dont know that sligo is a place in iraland. love to all,annie. in england.xx
