I have just recently started giving private english lessons to a 14 year old girl and im a 17 year old girl. Its really not that easy since she is having trouble with the basic rules and lack of vocabulary. What could you suggest me to make this teaching alot more easier? What kind of exercises should i give her and what exactly to teach? The thing is, I myself know english since i have experience. Explaining stuff like "why is this sentence makes more sense than this one and should be written like that"... well how can i explain stuff like that? i dont really know why i just do.

Why don't you

consult a teacher at your school? They could definitely assist you, and you can take work papers from them.

Trust me,

if there are some good teachers in your school, they'll help you a hell lot more than the forum. I work in a high school, and there are some great English teachers there. I know that if I needed such help I'd turn to them.

uh, maybe compare it

to hebrew? i know it's not very effective (is is A-ffective or E-ffective? i sturggle with that:\) anyways, some people are fixed on the idea that hebrew is better so you should give her an example in hebrew just so she's understand. oh, and torture works too.
