Grand Prix 2006
First i think that the Grand Prix idea is very good one but in the same time i believe that there are few changes that are needed to be done to the way it was implied last season. The way it was done last year created an uneven play ground and chase for the money. So here what i think might and should be changed: 1)All 3 meets will count the same - no 150% points meets 2)The events will be represented evenly not two times 1500 and once 800 or no hurdles at all...For example it might look like: Distance Events First meet: first meet: 800 + 5000 second meet: 1500 third meet: 800 + 3000. this will give even opportunity to all types of runners 800 or 1500/800 or 1500/3000 or 3000/5000. Or for Sprint/Hurdles First meet: 200 + 110H Second meet: 400 Third meet: 100/400H. Those are just exampls If the second meet seems empty for TV always invitational events may be added. any other ideas...? any criticism...? Amit? Lior? IAA? Miki? Gidon? anyone? Avi
