The Liverpool girls are pictured sporting "milk moustaches" as part of a nationwide poster campaign aimed at young people. A campaign by government agency, the Milk Development Council, and milk producers will appear on bus stops, magazines and milk cartons, carrying the message that semi-skimmed milk contains little fat and high levels of calcium and vitamin A. Similar milk promotions in America have featured celebrities such as Britney Spears and Buffy the Vampire Slayer star Sarah Michelle Gellar. Atomic kitten singers Liz McLarnon, Natasha Hamilton and Jenny Frost were joined by Big Brother winner Cameron Stout to spearhead the health drive. Liz said: "It's really important that kids grow up healthy and start making the right choices about what to put into their bodies from an early age. "Girls in particular need to watch their calcium intake to ensure that they develop strong, healthy bones. You won't be able to follow our dance moves if you don't."
