going out of EU waters
Dear forum members hello, I have a qeustion regarding sailing in EU waters for a foriegn yacht. as i undertand, i foreign yacht is obligated to go out of EU waters every 18 months, then she can come back for another 18 months. what i was wondering is what are the things the authorities are checking to see if i have been out of EU waters? What am i requierd to show as a proof of me being out? Can i pay a week in Ashdod marina for example, have the bill, with a stamp in my passport from Israel in the same week and it will be enough? like this i don't even need to sail out of europe... I hope i made my self clear enoguh and i will appreciate any kind of help you can give me. i thank you all in advance. and wish you all the best! Doron
