i have a "simple" problem. i have 2 sheet's one is protected and the other is'nt i want to use a button to transfer data from one line in the unprotected sheet to the protected sheet. the line won't be in the unprotected sheet once i've pressed the button. how can i do that. is there a macro code that works ? thank's shaul

I assume you are writing from abroad and/or you don't know Hebrew. Anyhow, in order to unprotect your "Protected" Sheet (not manually) here is the required Macro Code: Sub UnProt() Sheets(1).Unprotect ("1234") End Sub ...Where 1234 is the Password you used while protecting the sheet, a and we are talking about sheet No. 1 . You may skip the ("1234") from that line and then you will be prompted to type the password in an "Question-Box". P.S. If the sheet is to be protected AFTER you have finished the copy procedure then use: Sub Prot() Sheets(1).protect ("1234") End Sub​
