Entry with travel document

Hello. My passport was stolen and i got a travel document instead. I would like to visit the UK soon and my question is: can I enter just with the travel document or do I need to issue a visa?i Thank you

are you in Israel or elsewhere?

and what kind of travel document? If you got a temporary document just to allolw you to go back to Israel, you cannot travel anywhere with it. If (unlkely according to the details you gave) you are on a special status in Israel that does not allow you to get a passport and you were issued a LAISSEZ PASSER instead this document requires an entry visa to ANY country you want to travel to.

First of all I’m in the US at the moment. I understood from the embassy that the only reason I got this travel document was because my passport was valid. I was told that I need to use this for a year (enter Israel and the USA) and then I can issue a new passport. But, they told me that for entering other country’s ill have to find out if I need a visa to enter with that specific country.
