CITY OF IRON
השבוע זכיתי לביקור בית של נציג UPS, ביקור שעלה לי רק 275 ש"ח!
סיפור המעשה: CITY OF IRON פרויקט kickstart, שבו השתתפתי יחד עם עוד מספר חברים (גיסי ואחי...) כך שהזמנו 3 יחידות ב- 120$ כולל משלוח = כ- 150 ש"ח ליחידה.
אלא שהבחור היקר בארה"ב שלח את המשלוח דרך UPS, במחווה של רצון טוב, ובהשקעה כספית נוספת שלו עצמו. ורק לאחר מעשה גילה שכל (כן כל לא רק בארץ) הלקוחות הבינלאומיים נדרשו לשלם תוספות שונות.
עוד לא הספקתי להתעטש והנה כמה שורות מדוא"ל שקיבלתי ממנו , שימו לב שאני אפילו לא פניתי אליו:
Our international shipping charges ended up much higher than I expected, and I had no idea that international backers would be required to pay such a high amount for brokerage fees and customs. If I’d known, I would never have sent the games through UPS. I want to make it right, as much as is possible after the fact.
Because of this I want to offer you, as an international backer of City of Iron, $60 to help pay for brokerage and customs fees if you accept/accepted your copy of the game. I realize this may not pay for the entire cost, but I hope it will lessen the sting of having to pay additional charges for the game.

1. תמיד להשתתף בפרויקטים של KICKSTART שאתה יודע שיש גב מאחור, אנשים שאכפת להם.
2. להעיר את עיני המזניקים לא לשלוח ב- UPS.
