I'm just a Londoner who's currently in Holland. I was once an Israeli for a few years in between "two Londons", but it didn't leave much of a (positive) impression on me, I'm afraid... And in what way is the word "boi" common in the UK, that is different from what TrigUSA's explaination? I know it from the UK dykeworld - and you?​
