I don`t think it`s sad. About the little kids, all they know is who is pikachu and who is bulbasaur. Try to develop an intelligent conversation about pokemon with them. Believe me, that I (and everyone in this forum) sees a lot in pokemon beyond pikachu and bulbasaur. So if you think pokemon is for little kids, go ahead. But there is alot more to pokemon that little kids cannot understand.
